Why I Write

Writing, for me, is a journey of discovery. I seek knowledge, camaraderie, and inspiration and am driven by a search for purpose and a need to engage in self-reflection. For most of my life writing has been a primary means to work through what I am thinking and feeling and find peace with difficult circumstances.

Mission and Vision

I want to be an active participant in the community and my hope is that by doing so I will be able to effect positive change in the world around me. I believe that everyone who has an experience to share should have the opportunity to do so. I also feel that connecting readers and writers is an important step in engaging people in conversations that might not otherwise occur and that those human connections are incredibly valuable. If I can contribute in some way to those conversation or help others by promoting their words and their voice, I know I will have done something worthwhile.
